Care
Cleaning
To protect its hand-rolled edges, we recommend that you not fully immerse your pocket square in water to clean it. Instead, create a solution of tepid water and mild detergent and carefully spot clean any stains.
Should your pocket square require more thorough cleaning, you can take it to a dry cleaner that specializes in handling delicate accessories. Remind them to be careful when cleaning around the handrolled edges.
Storage
Because it is so lightweight, linen as a fabric is naturally very prone to wrinkling. To reduce unnecessary wrinkling, always remove your linen pocket square from your pocket after wearing it.
Lay it flat in a cool, dry location for a few hours to allow the material to naturally relax and to avoid setting in any wrinkles or creases.
Removing Wrinkles
To remove wrinkles, use a garment steamer set to hot to work out the wrinkles. You can also use an iron set to the Linen setting with a piece of cotton cloth between the linen and the iron.
Lightly sprinkling the underside of the pocket square with water will help relax wrinkles more quickly.
Be sure to only iron the center of the pocket square and do not run your iron over the edges, as it could ruin the effect of the hand-rolled edges by flattening them.
