Modeled after the humble safety pin, this collar pin is designed to work with a wide variety of collar types and was, for decades, a regular sight in menswear: historic gentlemen of style like Clark Gable and Fred Astaire wore one regularly, as did Leonardo di Caprio in the 2013 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby. If you are wearing a pinhole collar, the point will slip neatly through the premade holes and securely hold your collar tips. If your collar has no premade holes, the thin, sharp point will gently pass through the fabric of your collar, pinning both tips in place. To help you wear your collar pin with a wider range of collar types, Fort Belvedere offers this pin in three sizes: the shorter sizes will generally work best with classic collars, while the larger sizes are perfect for more modern widespread or medium cutaway collars.

Please note that extremely wide cutaway collar shirts should not be worn with collar jewelry and our pins will not fit them.
